Rima Salim Hachache, born in Beirut and lived early childhood in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia with her parents: Salim and Atifa. She has two brothers: Ramzi the eldest and Raef the youngest. She was sent to a boarding school in Beirut for seven years and continued her high school in Lausanne – Switzerland. Then went to Univercity of Lausanne where took a French teaching diploma. She went back to Saudi Arabia where worked as a preschool teacher for two years. In 1986, she got married to Maher Idriss. They have three boys: Jad, Hani and Rayan and they all live in Beirut.
