The FLASHE range, distributed since 1955, is one of the first modern painting materials to give artists other means than oil painting to express themselves. Its optical characteristics allow the effects of old tempera paints and primitive painting grounds to be reproduced. matt and velvety, opaque.
FLASHE colours are diluted in water and become indelible when dry.
FLASHE colours are applied using brushes, paint guns, or sponges.
FLASHE is a multi-purpose product with many uses: Preparing grounds for using oil or acrylic paints, creation of canvas paintings, theatre sets, advertising decors, thumbnail sketches or trompe l’œil drawings.
For these many techniques, FLASHE has a palette of 84 (35 new colours since 2007) colours that can all be mixed together. FLASHE is available in 125ml glass jar (77 shades), 400ml glass jar (49 shades), black and white in 750ml glass jar.

The FINE Acrylic colours are made using finely ground fine arts pigments dispersed in an acrylic-based emulsion. The paint dries very rapidly by water evaporation, the resin particles knit together to form a supple, satin-textured and indelible plastic film.
The 50 colours in 60 ml tubes (white in 150 ml tube) are characterised by their excellent lightfastness and remain stable without yellowing over time.
Fine Acrylic paints can be used on any non-oily support. Canvases or ready prepared canvas boards must be coated with “non-oily” or “universal” primers.

The palette of LOUVRE acrylic colours is a selection of the ones most frequently used by artists : It is an ideal colour chart and gives beginners a perfect introduction to this technique. The mineral and organic pigments of the range were selected for their excellent lightfastness.

For amateur or professional painters working on large surfaces, the Louvre range is available in particularly suitable sizes : 30 shades in 750ml pots, 42 shades in 200ml tubes, 44 shades in 80ml tubes and 26 shades in 40ml tubes.
