Interlocked synthetic brushes : The hair curves inwards, thus increasing responsiveness for working with thick layers. Do not use for oil paints, because the synthetic brush will not withstand the solvents for very long.

Sable brushes are the finest and retain a large quantity of liquid colour. They form a very fine and incisive tip owing to their typically bold responsiveness. They are extremely pleasant to use.
